Occupational Health Specialist Role

Our organisation is seeking a skilled and empathetic Occupational Health Specialist to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, identifying barriers to return-to-work, and developing programs to support injured employees in their transition back to the workforce.

As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will engage closely with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a keen sense of time management.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments including daily living activities, workplace, functional, ergonomic, equipment evaluations
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) obstacles
  • Facilitate collaboration among clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve desirable outcomes
  • Design, implement, and monitor programmes that aid injured employees in returning to the workforce
Essential Qualifications
  • Australian-recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy
  • Ability and willingness to travel (A current vehicle and driver's license are required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
  • Effective time management and punctuality
