The Strategic Investment Manager will oversee and manage complex investment programs, focusing on alternative investment strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and program management methodologies. The successful candidate will work closely with investment teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful program execution and achievement of investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive program plans for investment initiatives, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment towards program objectives.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities, assessing risk and return profiles.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with external investment managers and service providers.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Continuously research and analyze market trends and investment opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager within Financial Services (Banking highly regarded)
  • 5+ years of experience in investment management, with a focus on alternative investments.
  • Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
