Ramp and Baggage Handling Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Ramp and Baggage Service Delivery Agent at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our ground handling operations, you will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo and passenger aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of baggage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working in and around aircraft on the apron
  • Loading and unloading all cargo and passenger aircraft
  • Manual handling - lifting baggage with a maximum weight of 32kg per piece
  • Anticipating and resolving problems
  • Assisting with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be available for shift-work across a 24/7 roster including mornings, evenings and weekends. You must also have a full Victorian Driver's License (mandatory), be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, willing to complete a full pre-employment medical/Drug and Alcohol testing along with a satisfactory security clearance and be fully vaccinated.
