Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machinery Operator to fill a key role within our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-performance machinery, ensuring optimal performance through routine maintenance tasks, and adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality management standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and optimizing production output
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order, identifying and addressing any issues promptly
  • Load and handle raw materials with care, maintaining a safe and organized work environment
  • Conduct thorough pre-start checks on equipment to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operation
  • Utilize overhead gantry cranes to move heavy productions safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Valid Forklift License (a desirable asset)
  • Experience using overhead cranes is highly beneficial
  • Previous experience in a steel manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, resolving problems as they arise
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a positive attitude towards work
