Early Childhood Educator Role

This is a multifaceted and rewarding role that involves providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children from birth to school age.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of each child
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to achieve goals and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements:
  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A Working with Children Check clearance number
  • Current approved first aid qualification for early education and care HLTAID004
  • Completed an approved child protection Statement of Attainement
  • Experience working in early childhood services
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of current early childhood theories and practice & children's services legislation
  • High level of ethical and professional behaviour, including collaboration and confidentiality
