Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pastry Team Leader to oversee the preparation of high-quality pastries for various service areas within a resort setting.

  • Leading teams to deliver exceptional quality and presentation across multiple service outlets.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a pastry chef or team leader in a similar environment, preferably within the hotel industry.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of food safety requirements, including HACCP and workplace health and safety (WH&S).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage staffing needs, plan, delegate tasks, and motivate team members to meet daily objectives.
  • Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills.
