Early Years Intervention Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists at EACH Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Supports: Work in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals, using evidence-informed best practice.
- Assess and Develop Support Options: Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
- Empower Families and Caregivers: Help families, caregivers, and professionals build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills.
- Connect Children and Families with their Community: Ensure children and families are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
- Record Keeping and NDIS Support: Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system, and guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
- Qualifications: A qualification in Early Childhood.
- Expert Knowledge: Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
- Proven Track Record: A proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
- Comprehensive Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
