Key Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated data expert to join our team. This role can be performed from various locations with flexible working arrangements in place and options available.

This role was created due to expansion to support growth within the industry, and will focus on maintaining the integrity, security, and efficient implementation of data use cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster active engagement with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritise business requirements related to data and reporting use cases, ensuring clear communication between departments and the data team
  • Develop strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable technical solutions and facilitating regular feedback to refine deliverables
  • Map business requirements to technical capabilities to enable data-driven solutions, maintaining transparency with all stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with data engineers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to integrate data from various sources, ensuring solutions align with operational objectives
  • Contribute to design of data products that directly address stakeholder priorities and support both business operations and strategic initiatives
  • Identify data quality issues, proactively communicate potential impacts to stakeholders, and propose collaborative solutions to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of source data to support operational or strategic initiatives, regularly communicating insights and recommendations with stakeholders to drive informed decisions
  • Contribute to document data processes, standards, and definitions to ensure consistent data usage across departments
About Your Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Appreciation of data visualisation tools and support for data-driven solutions
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to modern cloud environments
  • Applies critical thinking with a focus on customers and outcomes
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics tools in AI space
