Job Title: National Manager APG Express Network

Linfox Intermodal is seeking a highly experienced National Manager to lead our APG Express Network, based in West Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable services for one of our major customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service performance, operational efficiency, and financial results.
  • Enhance team culture, including staff and driver engagement, retention, safety, and values.
  • Streamline operations and find efficiencies to drive success across our Intermodal business.
  • Work strategically with the customer to identify new or expanded opportunities to grow our share of wallet.
  • Provide customer service excellence in all aspects of the operation.
  • Communicate Intermodal's strategic priorities to the team and ensure individual roles and teams are clear on how this translates to their work.
  • Comply with Linfox requirements, policies, and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in Transport operations environment and/or transport network planning environment.
  • Significant experience in Leading Change and driving strategic goals.
  • Operational experience, with significant knowledge of transport processes, compliance, and planning.
  • A strong understanding of transportation technology and optimisation tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment, and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and transport optimisation and modelling/consulting methodologies.
  • Extremely strong understanding of transport operations and leading transition to leading or best practice end-to-end transport solutions.
  • Highly advanced Excel skills, data analytics tools, and good competency in general business software.
