Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled workshop Fitters, Turners & Machinists to join our team in APR Engineering workshop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components using trade skills from technical drawings, setting up and operating machines, and performing manual machining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fabricate components using trade skills from technical drawings
  • Set up and operate machines to ensure accurate assembly, maintenance, and repair of components for heavy machinery
  • Perform manual machining operations, including drilling, tapping, boring, broaching, and conventional milling and lathe work using various engine lathes
  • Understand materials and their applications to complete jobs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Australian recognized trade certificate in Fitting and Turning - Machinist
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work without supervision and autonomously
