Job Summary

We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Hand to support our catering operations on site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all catering-related equipment and flatware, including washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure the cleanliness of food preparation areas, adhering to all cleaning procedures and standards to maintain a smooth operation of the back of house and dining room areas.
  2. Cookery Duties: Assist with occasional chopping of vegetables, although this is not a primary responsibility.
  3. Team Support: Participate in team activities, attend staff meetings when scheduled, and demonstrate a supportive approach to other staff members, contributing to overall team effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. Previous Experience: Desired experience as a kitchen hand.
  2. Food Hygiene Training: Undertaken food hygiene training.
  3. Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures.
