Job Summary

At InterSystems, we're looking for a skilled Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality, safety, and usability of our innovative healthcare products.

As a member of our cross-functional agile development team, you'll work closely with developers and product specialists to ensure the highest standards of quality in our products. Your clinical and/or hospital knowledge will be invaluable in helping us improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing as a subject matter expert in our agile development team to build and maintain healthcare software.
  • Identifying issues in application design or implemented functionality.
  • Designing and executing detailed testing scenarios to validate application functionality and clinical safety.
  • Recording test scenarios into automated regression scripts using our test automation toolkit.
  • Coordinating and planning regression script coverage for release validation.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation relating to functional specifications, workflows, agile processes, and update reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A healthcare background and hospital experience.
  • Demonstrated domain expertise with a clear understanding of healthcare and departmental interdependencies and workflows.
  • Tertiary education in a medical domain, science, or health informatics.
  • Experience working with healthcare applications as an end user or vendor is desirable.
  • A strong interest in IT and the application of technology to add value and/or solve problems.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in either Microsoft or Mac Operating Systems.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies, and software products.
