This is a casual position operating during school holidays at Nursery Road State Special School, in Holland Park. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM.

About the Role:
  • Assist with personal care and toileting when needed

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement
  • Assist with mobility and communication needs
  • Organise and lead fun recreational activities
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment where everyone feels supported
What Skills Do We Need?
  • A positive attitude and a passion for working with kids
  • Patience and empathy in all situations
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
  • Previous experience with children, particularly those with disabilities
Requirements:
  • Senior First Aid and CPR certificate
  • QLD blue card (working with children check)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (yellow card)
  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate 'Quality, Safety & You'
