Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Water and Sewerage Treatment Plant Operator/Assistant to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain water and sewerage treatment plants, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and council policies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in water and sewerage treatment plant operation and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate complex equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads.
