Heavy Machinery Technician Job Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our heavy machinery fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and pre-delivery preparation of new equipment
  • Supporting sales teams with equipment preparation, start-up, and demonstration
  • Performing scheduled service, rebuilds, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on heavy machinery
  • BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS throughout the lifecycle of their equipment
  • Pursuing ongoing learnings from our team and leaders, taking advantage of training opportunities, and career progression
  • Collaborating with the service team to implement improvement initiatives
  • Sharing expertise to develop other technicians and apprentices within the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Substantial experience working with heavy machinery in industries such as agriculture, construction, or mining

A strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair principles

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and colleagues
