About Our Client

Our client is a renowned high-end builder with a 30-year history of delivering exceptional residential builds in Melbourne.

We are currently working on 7 live projects with a strong pipeline for 2025, consisting of bespoke builds ranging from $2 to $8 million.

About the Role

As a High-End Residential Carpenter, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional living spaces that reflect the unique aspirations of our clients. Your duties will include assisting the Site Manager with carpentry aspects of construction projects and directing apprentices and other qualified carpenters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meticulous Woodworking: Create, assemble, and install high-quality wooden structures, furnishings, and features with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Set out: Have a good understanding of plans and construction processes from start to finish.
  • New Build: Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to translate blueprints into tangible masterpieces, ensuring precision in every cut and joint.
  • Renovation: Transform existing spaces through expert remodelling, seamlessly integrating modern aesthetics with classic design elements.
  • Finishing Excellence: Apply expert-level finishing techniques, ensuring surfaces are flawlessly smooth, polished, and ready to enchant.
  • Customisation: Craft bespoke carpentry solutions tailored to each client's preferences, lifestyle, and functional requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead a team of skilled carpenters and apprentices to execute projects on time and to the highest standards.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize an array of tools and equipment with finesse, showcasing your technical prowess in every task.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the Site Manager to ensure project objectives are met and expectations exceeded.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working on architectural builds.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
