Senior Manager Human Resources

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Australia.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality HR services that align with Delaware North's culture, values, and global best practices. Your expertise will drive exceptional performance, champion HR excellence, and foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and driving HR initiatives that align with functional and business objectives, while delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance in relation to HR policies and practices including industrial and employee relations.
  • Partnering with centralised specialists in Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to ensure recruitment and leadership coaching align with organisational standards and broader people strategies.
  • Building an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement strategies.
  • Leading and developing a team of HR professionals, empowering them to deliver impactful, value-driven HR services.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in HR leadership roles within service-oriented industries, with a strong emphasis on customer-centric solutions.
  • A proven track record in people leadership, industrial relations, and delivering impactful HR strategies and projects that align with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR in unionised environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence, engage, and partner effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • A results-oriented mindset, with the ability to align HR initiatives with broader business goals, delivering measurable outcomes.
Salary:

Our estimated salary for this role is between $150,000 and $200,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
