About the Job

Our team is responsible for connecting rural communities with food, animal feed, and industrial customers around the world. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be part of our efforts to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for Portland terminal operations.

  • Develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for Portland terminal operations
  • Plan materials, resources, equipment, and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
  • Consult with operations supervisors/leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
  • Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule manpower and resources effectively
  • Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
  • Maintain upkeep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history
Key Requirements

Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry. They should possess:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Planning experience in CMMS (SAP experience is highly desirable)
  • A strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plant
  • Awareness and understanding of budget constraints
  • The ability to apply complex problem-solving and critical thinking techniques
