About the Role

The CPB Contractors Pty Limited is seeking a highly skilled Tunnelling Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site engineering functions and providing efficient support to construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the procurement of subcontractors for project works, including writing scopes, liaising with subcontractor and supplier representatives, reviewing tender submissions, and assisting with preparing recommendations.
  • Assist with design reviews, focusing on constructability and practical application.
  • Contribute to the project program and provide input on delivery strategies.
  • Analyze and review previous project data to inform delivery strategies for the M6 project.
  • Coordinate site establishment works for tunnel sites, including planning and execution.
  • Coordinate material delivery, tracking, and reporting.
  • Conduct safety reviews of site works and undertake quality inspections and reviews.
  • Coordinate regular quality inspections with the client and manage the verification of conformance for works under control.
  • Track daily progress, productivity, and costs, and provide reporting.

Requirements

The successful candidate will hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, prior to commencement.
