Job Role Overview:

The Warehouse Security Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular walks of the warehouse and perimeter to identify potential safety and security concerns.

• Maintaining knowledge of procedures and applicable laws related to security duties, attending relevant meetings and seminars.

• Observing and investigating internal and external threats, reporting potential issues to the Warehouse Manager and participating in the Shrink Committee.

• Detaining and interviewing individuals when necessary, preparing reports for internal use and potential prosecution.

• Maintaining evidence and report files collected from investigations, testifying in court as required.

• Communicating with other area warehouse personnel to exchange information on current and local threats.

• Providing prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and vendors, assisting in other departments as needed.
