Better Place Australia is seeking a skilled Family and Relationships Therapist to join our team in Traralgon. As a community-focused not-for-profit organization, we provide high-quality services to a wide range of community groups across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide short-term counselling for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop a coordinated and integrated approach to assisting clients to resolve relationship difficulties effectively.
- Develop and implement brief therapy approaches and conflict resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive support services to clients.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of the effects of conflict on families and relationships.
- Knowledge and experience in brief therapy approaches and conflict resolution approaches.
- Experience in working with couples, families, and individuals in a therapeutic and/or short-term counselling context.
- Membership or eligibility of membership with ACA (level 2 or above), PACFA, AASW, or PBA.
