Job Description

This role involves leading strategic estate and infrastructure planning within a small team responsible for the development of airbase infrastructure strategies, concepts, and policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice to senior leaders on matters related to airbase infrastructure planning and developing briefs and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of airbase infrastructure plans that support an effective national airbase network.

The role requires demonstrated high performance, strategic acumen, initiative, professionalism, communication, collaboration, adaptability, time/resource management, and leadership skills commensurate with the EL 1 work level standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on airbase infrastructure planning and development;
- Develop and implement airbase infrastructure strategies, concepts, and policies;
- Lead key functions within the team responsible for airbase infrastructure planning;
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to build and sustain effective working relationships;
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and identify risks and opportunities for improvement;
- Have experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all rank levels;
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with competing demands;
