Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team at RV Mobile Truck & Trailer Repairs. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on all makes and models of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers as per repair order instructions
  • Advise the workshop foreman of any additional work required
  • Document all work performed, including cause and correction
  • Ensure customer vehicles are left in a clean and tidy condition
  • Supervise apprentices and ensure they are trained and developed to meet dealership standards
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Attend dealership and service department meetings and online training
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop area
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate in Automotive or equivalent
  • Drivers License equivalent to role
  • Technical knowledge as per qualification specifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organizational and time management skills
