Avionics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Engineer to join our team at our Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft, working closely with our experienced technicians and managers to deliver high-quality results.

The Avionics Engineer role involves performing a range of tasks including:

• Maintaining and repairing aircraft avionics systems
• Performing troubleshooting and diagnostic work on complex electrical systems
• Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. In addition, we provide a comprehensive training program to ensure our employees have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent trade certificate
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and a JUST culture
• Experience working on Fokker 70/100 and Embraer E190 aircraft
• Ability to perform shift work if required
• Previous experience in a base maintenance environment
