Job Title: Visionary Leader for Technologies Faculty

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to lead our Technologies Faculty, driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically lead the technologies curriculum development
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Design Technologies and Engineering
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Mentor and support staff within the faculty
  • Manage department resources and facilities effectively
  • Build partnerships with industry leaders, universities, and external stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and engineering education
  • Engage with students, parents, and the broader community
Requirements

We seek a passionate and forward-thinking leader with a strong background in engineering, design, and technology education.

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Design, Technology, or related fields)
  • Proven leadership experience within an educational institution or similar environment
  • A deep understanding of technologies education including curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
