Casual Marketing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled marketing creative to strengthen our digital presence within the chinese-speaking community in australia. You will focus on content creation, community engagement, and social media storytelling for xiaohongshu (little red book) and wechat.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and posting engaging content, including images, videos, and copy. They will also stay up to date with trends, hashtags, and popular content formats, and engage with followers to build a loyal online community.

Additionally, you will manage and maintain the official wechat account, write and post compelling articles, and communicate with customers via group chats and direct messages.

Marketing & Promotions:

- Assist with planning and executing campaigns for the chinese market
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored marketing strategies
- Analyse campaign performance and optimise content based on data

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in mandarin chinese (written and spoken) and proficient in english
  • Strong knowledge of xiaohongshu and wechat platforms
  • Confident creating content - writing, editing, and visual storytelling
  • Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or social media is a bonus
