Job Title: Air Combat Logistics ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Air Combat Logistics Expert to join our team at RAAF Base Amberley. As a key member of our logistics support system, you will provide strategic oversight and management of the system, ensuring seamless integration and coordination of all logistical activities.About the Role:The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in business-related fields with a focus on logistics and supply chain management. They must have demonstrated experience supporting business strategic activities, preferably within the Defence and/or Defence Industry sector. Additionally, they should be familiar with Australian Defence Force Logistics systems and concepts of logistics support.Key Responsibilities:• Provide strategic oversight and management of the logistics support system
• Integrate and coordinate all strategic logistics activities including budget management, system priorities, and change proposals
• Oversee, integrate, and update aircraft life of type management plan and associated activities
• Mature the stewardship role of BDA within the logistics support system
• Ensure integration of the logistics support system within the broader support framework
• Prepare, implement, and monitor robust and resilient logistics support strategies and plansRequirements:To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Business-related tertiary qualifications specifically around logistics and supply chain
• Demonstrated experience supporting business strategic activities
• Previous experience working in Defence and/or Defence Industry
• Familiarity with Australian Defence Force Logistics systems and concepts of logistics support
