Cloud Architect Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud environments for our clients.

As a Cloud Architect, you will work closely with our customers to understand their technical needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
  • Lead technical solution discussions with customer teams
  • Build relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor and influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects and coordinate with other teams
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
  • Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
  • Ability to create proofs of concept, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or using reusable components
  • Experience working with Federal government
  • Able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications)
  • Hold or be able to attain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance
