About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and strong organizational abilities. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining effective communication with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming debtor payments and allocate them accordingly within our subledger system.
  • Collections and follow-up activities to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Prepare and issue customer statements on a monthly and weekly basis.
  • Conduct regular AR reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Produce monthly collection reports and weekly AR aging reports to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain customer credit limits and monitor company credit card processing.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, or Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including data entry and spreadsheet skills.
  • Hands-on experience with proprietary software, such as SAP - Hanna Online.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
