Mobility Service Specialist

As a mobility specialist, you will leverage your expertise to provide comprehensive services for individuals who are blind or have low vision, aiming to achieve equity and access in their desired communities.
Your Key Responsibilities- You will conduct assessments to evaluate clients' ability to travel safely and confidently within their preferred areas;
- Develop tailored plans for mobility aids and specialist services based on individual needs;
- Monitor and advise on the use of assistive technology relevant to mobility programs;
To excel in this role, you must possess approved qualifications in orientation and mobility, recognized by reputable organizations. Additionally, you should demonstrate:
- Knowledge and skills in working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and older adults;
- Experience in providing client support and mobility services through various communication channels;
- Training and intervention strategies for individuals and groups;
