Developing Games with Unreal Engine

At our organization, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Unreal Game Developer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality game content using the Unreal Engine platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Game Development: Design and develop engaging game features, levels, and environments that meet our quality standards.
  2. Collaboration with Designers and Artists: Work closely with our designers and artists to conceptualize and implement innovative game UI and gameplay enhancements.
  3. Technical Tools and Automation: Develop and maintain technical tools and Unreal Engine automation solutions to streamline game development workflows and improve productivity.
  4. User Experience and Performance Optimization: Ensure seamless user experiences across multiple devices (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS devices, Android phones).
  5. Bug Fixing: Identify and fix bugs reported by our testing team to ensure high-quality games before release.
  6. UE Maintenance and Enhancement: Update, maintain, and enhance the Unreal Engine as required for game development.
  7. Global Communication: Communicate daily in English with local team members and/or team members from other studios.
Requirements
  • Proficient in C++, Blueprints, and Visual Scripting
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and its associated tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
