About the Role

This position is responsible for leading the operational delivery of medical imaging services within a hospital setting. The Radiographer In Charge will be accountable to the Managing Radiologist and must operate in accordance with established protocols and policies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Medical Imaging team, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and excellence in medical imaging services.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to drive business growth and expand service offerings.
  • Lead advanced level medical imaging clinical services, applying expertise to resolve complex problems and improve patient outcomes.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in leading radiology teams is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with patients, referring doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to do the same is crucial.
  • Advanced level clinical skills in general radiography and CT are necessary.
  • Experience in MRI is an advantage.
  • Leadership qualities, including strategic thinking and problem-solving, are essential for success in this role.
  • Ongoing commitment to skill development, personal growth, and overseeing training and performance of others is expected.
