High-Performance Computing EngineerJob Overview:

A high-performance computing engineer will design and support complex systems, automating deployments and monitoring infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and supporting high-performance compute and storage systems
  • Automating deployments, upgrades, and configurations at scale
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting distributed computing infrastructure
  • Collaborating with global teams to improve researcher workflows
  • Supporting operations on a rotating basis and managing vendor partnerships
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years in HPC environments with Linux expertise
  • Experience with parallel filesystems such as Lustre or GPFS and schedulers such as Slurm or Grid Engine
  • Strong programming or scripting in Go, Python, or C
  • Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack
  • A proven ability to solve complex technical issues and support production environments
