Rope Access Professional

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rope Access Professional to oversee all aspects of Rope Access activities in project operations. The successful candidate will lead the team, manage ongoing works from scoping to implementation, and ensure safe working environments.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Rope Access Department and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop a proficient Rope Access team by defining roles, recruiting, training, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Expand the team and implement plans to achieve goals within budget and in line with departmental KPIs.
  • Manage client relationships, work collaboratively with teams, and meet project objectives.
  • Oversee resources, budget, profit, and loss, as well as assigned works in progress.
  • Optimise project outcomes by managing personnel, tooling, equipment, and materials.
  • Liaise with procurement and logistics teams to ensure resource availability.
  • Verify work crews are resourced for safe working environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify HSEQ risks, monitor, implement, or enforce requirements to IRATA standards.
  • Promote a positive culture, reinforce company values, and acceptable behaviour.
  • Apply professional conflict resolution skills.

Your Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Australian recognised trade qualification.
  • IRATA Certificate (valid).
  • Leadership experience with proficiency in managing Rope Access teams.
  • Extensive knowledge in rope access systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and delegation ability.
  • Capacity to work effectively under minimal supervision while producing deliverables.
  • Ability to achieve high standards under constraints.
  • Sound business acumen and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills and personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.
