The Role

We are seeking experienced Level 3 Rope Access Technicians to work with our new client South 32 at the Worsley Alumina Refinery in Collie.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high-performing team working in a Drive-In / Drive-Out (DIDO) or residential capacity. Successful candidates will work collaboratively to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and perform rope access tasks in line with project scope and to safety standards
  • Inspect, maintain and carry out pre and post use checks on all rope access and rigging equipment
  • Ensure compliance with (ICOP) and site-specific safety procedures
  • Maintain all works are conducted in compliance with IRATA standards
  • Develop and implement rescue plans in line with scope of works
  • Carry out any rescue procedures appropriate to site environment and by certification level

About You

  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Construction White Card
  • Recognised and relevant trade certificate (highly regarded)
  • Level 3 IRATA Qualification (valid)
  • Working at Heights Certificate (valid)
  • Elevated Work Platform Certificate (highly advantageous)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Willingness to learn new techniques, tools, and methods to expand your skillset
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
