Speech Pathologist Opportunity

Our organisation invites skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologists to join our team on a full-time, casual or part-time basis.

This opportunity allows you to utilise your expertise and creativity in a supportive and collaborative environment. We welcome graduates at the end of 2025 and new graduates to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct Assessments and Therapy Sessions

Conduct assessments for children, teenagers, and young adults who have difficulties with communication to determine their strengths and areas for improvement.

Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions that are fun, engaging, and evidence-based.

Document and write therapy plans and reports that are easy to understand and outline how the difficulties impact the child's participation in everyday activities.

Build rapport with families and provide practical strategies and ideas.

Work closely with other professionals, such as Occupational Therapists, Teachers, and Psychologists, in the Illawarra.

Essential Criteria

A Bachelor of Speech Language Pathology or equivalent qualification.

Be a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.

Current Working with Children's Check, Police Certificate, First aid, and CPR certificate.

Professional indemnity insurance.
