As a Special Education Teacher at our school, you will play a vital role in empowering students with diverse needs to excel and contribute positively to their community.

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement high-quality, differentiated learning programs that meet the needs of students with intellectual and physical disability, autism, and complex learning profiles.
- Create safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environments that foster positive relationships, wellbeing, and a strong sense of belonging for vulnerable learners.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, engaging with support staff, specialists, families, and community partners to maximise student outcomes.
- Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and inclusive practice, with a deep understanding of Aboriginal education and the capacity to embed cultural respect and community connections into teaching and learning.
- Approval to teach in the Supported Learning Environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a commitment to excellence and innovation.
