About the Role

This role involves working as a tyre fitter at a mining project in Queensland, reporting to the tyre supervisor. The full-time position follows a 7/7 rotating roster with 12.5-hour shifts.

  • Removing, fitting, and repairing tyres, rims, and wheel assemblies on heavy mining equipment is a key responsibility.
  • The person will conduct regular tyre inflation checks, adjusting pressures, and report to the supervisor.
  • Sourcing technical information from manuals, bulletins, and computer systems is an essential part of the job.
  • Taking proactive measures to prevent equipment non-conformance and addressing quality issues is crucial.
  • Following site procedures and providing solutions through designated channels is necessary.
