Optimize Pricing Strategies

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.

  • This role involves designing and deploying strategic pricing initiatives, providing insights into pricing data and tools, and driving change in value and market pricing structures.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of pricing science, data models, tools, and processes to support the strategic pricing foundation. They will lead customer request for proposal processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect customer and market intelligence, and communicate pricing rationale and financial implications persuasively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic pricing operations as an end-to-end process including pricing strategy development, price setting, pricing process governance, and tool maintenance in alignment with business strategy.
  2. Maintain and evolve pricing science, data models, tools, and process to support the strategic pricing foundation.
  3. Lead and support customer request for proposal processes in partnership with the sales team, ensuring market dynamics and value-based pricing principles are considered.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect customer and market intelligence, develop effective pricing strategies, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
  5. Communicate pricing rationale and financial implications persuasively to stakeholders across functions.
  6. Monitor the financial performance of implemented pricing strategies, analyzing actual outcomes against projected results.
  7. Analyze and understand volume/price tradeoffs to judge impact on margins.
  8. Support change management initiatives across the broader business as the organization evolves to a value-based pricing culture.
