Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations

  • Provide technical operations for BSC's complex IT server and communication solutions that comply with Raytheon and Defence technical standards and security policies.
  • Manage system accounts, permissions, and directory operations, ensuring service delivery staff have the necessary up-to-date information for account administration activities.
  • Provide technical input into the development and maintenance of Disaster Recovery Plans & Business Continuity Plans for server and communication infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience

Essential Skills

  • Relevant Certificate IV/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Systems Administration 2nd/3rd Level support role (UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft).
  • Experience in monitoring a complex IT environment.
  • Experience in diagnosing networking faults.
  • Hold a number of relevant industry qualifications such as DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certifications, Microsoft Certified System Associate (MSCA), Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), and Security (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security).
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance as needed.
