Located in our Ground Support team, your role as a Ground Support Equipment Technician (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician) will see you upholding all maintenance-both corrective and preventative, on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities.
You will be working in a fast paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering, airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.
You'll have
- A trade certificate in Automotive or equivalent (Heavy Stream preferred)- 5 years post-trade experience (ideally with heavy diesel vehicles)- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills with a thorough understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems- The ability to adapt under pressure- Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.- Sound computer literacy- Ability to work shift work- Previous Ground Support Equipment maintenance experience would be highly regarded.- An Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket is highly desirable- A Fork lift license (highly desirable)
