Job Title: Water Treatment Senior Technical Advisor

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Senior Technical Advisor to provide daily technical support to regional conventional water treatment plants operations across the state.

This role will collaborate with operations teams and drive operational excellence through strong safety practices and innovative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead remote and site-based support for operations of water treatment facilities including technical, scientific, or engineering investigations as well as design and commissioning activities.
  • Provide specialist advice on design standards and operational requirements for new treatment plants.
  • Develop treatment operations, processes, and technology to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Review plant performance against performance criteria.
  • Manage team assets, including laboratory equipment, instruments, corporate vehicles.
  • Communicate recommendations through technical reports.
  • Ensure safety is the priority in all works undertaken.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant scientific or engineering field.
  • Considerable experience in conventional water treatment process design, operations, or troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Operations and maintenance and technical knowledge.
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills.
