About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality speech pathology services to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive speech pathology services that meet the needs of our community.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide individual, group, and population health services.
  • Utilize a range of preventative, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation approaches to address speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in speech pathology, and apply client-centered practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services.
  • Provide effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to ensure successful collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized qualification in speech pathology and be eligible for full membership of the Speech Pathology Association.
  • Be capable of managing and prioritizing a personal workload, and providing straightforward clinical services.
  • Bring a proactive approach to developing and maintaining contemporary knowledge and skills in speech pathology.
  • Apply client-centered practice and community engagement principles in the provision of services.
