Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our passionate and supportive team at Wyndham Vale Primary Kindergarten. bestchance Child Family Care is a values-based employer that provides mentoring, advice, and support to extend your practice and achieve your professional goals.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team to deliver high-quality education and care services for children. You will be responsible for creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that fosters warm, respectful, and positive relationships with staff, children, and families.
About the Position
This permanent part-time role offers 18.75 hours per week and commences in January 2025. As a strength-based and family-centered educator, you will have experience working in a kindergarten environment and a genuine passion for developing rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to individual children's needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Completed an approved Diploma in Education and Care qualification.
- Hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting).
- Successfully completed 'Protecting Children - Mandatory reporting and other obligations for the Early Childhood Sector' training.
- A well-developed understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and National Regulations.
