About the Role

As a Contracts Administrator, you will assist the Project Manager in the safe, coordinated, and successful delivery of projects to achieve project financial targets, in accordance with The Adco Way.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the production of documents and plans that govern project delivery.
  • Compile accurate scopes of work for subcontracts.
  • Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Ensure subcontract and supply agreements are in line with project and company contractual and legal requirements.
  • Administer the project management, change, and control processes in compliance with the project plans, contractual, and legal conditions, time bars, and administrative timeframes.
  • Ensure the proper and accurate use of Jobpac in administering the project.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
  • Solid experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial/residential new builds.
  • Understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts.
  • A working knowledge of major building trades.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong experience in tender processes and trade procurement.
  • Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs.
