Wine Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wine Consultant to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.

You will work closely with the sales team, sales team leaders, and key stakeholders to execute and achieve strategic goals. Your role will involve maintaining accurate and high-quality records of client interactions, providing guidance to clients on wine storage, cellar management, and investment objectives, and remaining informed and up-to-date on industry trends and market activity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with the sales team, sales team leaders, and key stakeholders to execute and achieve strategic goals
  • Maintain administrative activities, including accurate and high-quality records of client interactions
  • Offer guidance to clients on wine storage, cellar management, and investment objectives
  • Remain informed and up-to-date on industry trends and market activity

**Requirements:**

  • Passion for fine wine and luxury experiences, with a customer-first mentality
  • Strong phone sales experience and skills, with a track record of achieving targets
  • Strong knowledge of fine wines, with Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level II & III or equivalent qualification or the desire to complete them
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to present in front of a group of high-net-worth individuals
  • Charismatic and confident communicator, calm under pressure, with the ability to easily pivot in a fast-paced sales environment
