About the Opportunity

The 2026 Livestock Career Development program is designed for exceptional talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of Livestock operations. The program is based at our Rockhampton branch and provides the skills and training needed to be a future leader or technical expert within the industry.

During the 24-month program, participants will be involved in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to them to provide ongoing support. They will also have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, learning effective selling and relationship-building techniques.

Requirements

To be considered for the 2026 Livestock Career Development Program, you will need to demonstrate a strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry, excellent customer service skills, and strong negotiation abilities. You will also need to show successful completion of Year 12, a minimum of 24 months of work experience in the Agricultural industry, and a willingness to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program.
