About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves leading and executing forensic and advisory assignments with a focus on dispute advisory services and financial investigations. As a key member of our team, you will examine financial records, policies, and processes to construct analyses of loss and damage and other forms of financial claims.
You will develop financial models to assess measures of loss and damage and work closely with other McGrathNicol professionals, including restructuring, data analytics, and deals teams. Your expertise will be essential in analysing financial statements and preparing forensic accounting independent expert and investigation reports.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute various forensic and advisory assignments with a focus on dispute advisory services and financial investigations.
- Examine financial records, policies, and processes for constructing analyses of loss and damage and other forms of financial claims.
- Develop financial models to assess measures of loss and damage.
- Work with other McGrathNicol professionals, including restructuring, data analytics, and deals teams.
- Analyse financial statements and prepare forensic accounting independent expert and investigation reports.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, or related field.
- Full Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand membership (or nearing completion).
- Demonstrated technical knowledge with prior relevant experience within a professional services environment.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and tactfully.
