Civil Infrastructure Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Manager to oversee maintenance operations and coordinate small to medium projects in a civil infrastructure setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, contract administration, and communication skills.

This role involves managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaising with stakeholders for smooth project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing procurement, documentation, and maintenance schedules, as well as assisting in budget preparation, scheduling, and tender processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage building and civil contractors for planned/reactive maintenance and major projects
  • Oversee procurement, documentation, and maintenance schedules
  • Assist in budget preparation, scheduling, and tender processes
  • Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety standards
  • Prepare and review Risk Management Plans and Job Safety Analyses
  • Update asset registers and ensure alignment with corporate plans
  • Coordinate works with other trades and manage SIMOPS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Civil Trade Qualification or extensive experience in civil/building infrastructure
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field
  • Experience in supervision, project management, and contract administration
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices
  • Ability to scope, schedule, and manage medium-sized maintenance/construction projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills
  • Valid C or CA class driver's licence (vehicle provided for site visits only)
