Childcare Coordinator Role Overview

Our Childcare Service provides trusted before and after school care and holiday programs for local families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging programs for children aged 5-12 years old. Your role will involve building positive relationships with the community, mentoring and supporting your team, and overseeing compliance and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of your service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver high-quality childcare programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Build strong relationships with the school community, parents, and caregivers.
  • Mentor and support your team to develop their skills and knowledge in childcare.
  • Oversee compliance and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of your service.


What You'll Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have completed or be currently studying an ACECQA-recognised qualification in teaching, childcare, community services, or a similar field. You will also need to hold a valid Employee Working with Children Check for your state and be willing to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting, Relevant food safety & mandatory reporting certificates and a National Criminal History Check dated within 6 months.
